Edun was created in 2005 by the legendary lead singer of the U2 band Bono and his wife Ali Hewson with a love for change. Created by former Louis Vuitton designer Sharon Wauchob, Bono and Ali Hawson, Edun has emerged as a global brand that will strengthen trade with Africa. Edun's contemporary designed pieces stand out with the creativity of Africa, as well as hand workmanship that stands out in details and prints. LVMH also supports Edun's growth, its vision of becoming a global fashion brand and strengthening trade ties with Africa. In 2007, the brand presented a collection called EDUN LIVE. This collection included t-shirts 100% produced by Africa. While Edun's designs are inspired by the Art Nouveau style, he adorns the flowing, rounded pieces with floral and other plant motifs. Most of Edun's pieces are inspired by nature.
