BIOGRAPHY
Cemal Dougan was born in Kayseri, 1997. He graduated from NÖHÜ Fine Arts Faculty Painting Education Department. In 2015, he held his first personal exhibition at NÖHÜ Fine Arts Exhibition Hall. In addition, his works were exhibited in group exhibitions in Turkey and in the Timisoara Biennial in Romania outside of Turkey. Finally, he showed himself in the Base 2021 selection.
Currently, Dougan continues his master's degree at Düzce University, Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture, Department of Painting. He also continues his productions in his studio in Kayseri.
There are various traumatic events that people have experienced socially and individually from past to present. Dougan observes the effects of these events on the body and portrait surfaces in his paintings. Humans carry the effects of the life they have lived, both psychologically and physiologically. This trace it carries leads to spiritual identity and self-conflicts of the person. The objects, objects and space perception we see in his paintings actually belong to that Moment and carry the effects of the unconscious.
A trance state is seen in Dougan's paintings. It allows us to reach the depths of this trance state with transparent effects. Despite the soul and body relationship in shamanic rituals where consciousness is not completely lost, it reinterprets its connection with today.

- Artwork that can’t be returned:
- All pictures and prints that are specially printed for you.
- All artwork that is framed specially for you.
- All Sculpture and Ceramic works under the 3D category.
- All 4D artifacts such as video, GIF, and other digital work that is sent to you without a watermark.
- All digital installation work whose technical set up was specific to you and the location you requested.
- You can return the works that you bought at shopi go ART within 14 days of their delivery to you or the address of the person/institution that you had provided that they are undamaged.
- To initiate the return process, you need to create your request by contacting our customer service at 444 86 84, info@shopigoart.com, or via WhatsApp Support Line.
- Returns should only be made with the return procedure determined by Shopi go ART. No other form of returns will be accepted.
