“Öpüşen Memeler”, hareketli bir GIF’i tekrarda oynatan özel yapım bir dijital tuval. “Mikro İlişkiler” adlı serinin dört parçasından biri. Bir hikâye içermekten ziyade izleyiciye aşk hakkında yeniden düşünme olanağı sunuyor. Geleneksel animasyon ile 2D animasyonun bir karışımı. Bu tuhaf dilli sanat formu, bütün düalizm ve empoze edilmiş sosyal normların dışında bir dünya sunuyor. Aşkın durumlarını gözlemleyen dört hareketli GIF, aynı zamanda benliğin beden aracılığıyla özgürleşmesini tetikliyor. Bunun yanı sıra, bedenlerin ritmi renk kombinasyonları ile paralel bir uyum gösteriyor. Bu yalnızca kendimizi değil başkalarını da sevmenin bir kutlaması. Bu başka bir hayat olasılığının kutlaması.
"Eser kalıcı olarak video işlenmiş, degrade baskılı paspartulu, akrilik çerçeveli bir ekrandır. Herhangi bir uygulama ya da arayüz gerektirmeden sonsuz bir döngü halinde izlenebilir. Fişe taktıktan yaklaşık 10 sn içinde çalışmaya başlar.”

BIOGRAPHY
After graduating from Graphic Design with a first degree, Meltem Şahin (Marmaris,1989) completed her Master's Degree in Illustration at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA), where she was a Fulbright scholar. In 2015, she has been awarded with MICA Graduate Research Development Grant for her projects with electronics and Arduino.
The book that artist illustrated lastly, P is for Pussy, got shown in Huffington Post, Bitch Media, DesignTAXI and BuzzFeed. In 2017, her illustrations were selected for American Illustration. The animation, Flow received awards and has been shown in six different countries. In 2016, she opened her first solo show of animations and retro toys, Negative Pleasure in Baltimore, USA. In 2017, she curated the first AR show of Turkey, PMS which consisted of 22 female artists.
This year, she exhibited her work in five different shows including Dumphaus in Tokyo as part of the Wrong Biennale. Currently, she is creating AR filters, and AI generated pieces.
The artist creates worlds that have a humanistic, and sensitive approach without the hierarchy of specific race, social status, sexual orientations or any qualifiers of beauty. She incorporates traditional techniques like printmaking and mistake-like attributes to her works to create a balance between technology and nature.

- Outside of Istanbul: The works ready for delivery will be delivered within 3-7 working days; the works that are not ready for delivery are delivered within 3-10 working days days depending on the preparation process.
- 4D artifacts such as video, GIFs are sent to you via email.
- You will be contacted for Digital Installation works to be technically set up and an installation schedule is created.
RETURN
- Artwork that can’t be returned:
- All pictures and prints that are specially printed for you.
- All artwork that is framed specially for you.
- All Sculpture and Ceramic works under the 3D category.
- All 4D artifacts such as video, GIF, and other digital work that is sent to you without a watermark.
- All digital installation work whose technical set up was specific to you and the location you requested.
- You can return the works that you bought at shopi go ART within 14 days of their delivery to you or the address of the person/institution that you had provided that they are undamaged.
