From "Fan Page" Series
Social media and intense internet culture have been the basis of my work lately. I watch and reflect on the reflection of the "internet culture" that has entered our lives in recent years, from every aspect of our daily life. I observe that users, for whom there is no age limit, start to create their own internet languages, and opposite and extreme processes such as admiration, liking and hating turn into very fast reactions over instant sharing. While social media culture forms the basis of this series, my works come from visual pools that are directly accessible to the public on social media, where access is much easier, open to communication by every user and can be stored by all, and where screenshots can be taken. On the other hand, I am trying to bring these easily accessible images to the picture by making collages, a technique that has been used for centuries. The "Fan Page" series first began to take shape through my sketchbooks. Observing in the images I have encountered and recorded, how sports bring people together, how they stand side by side as one of the results of being a party, how different economic classes can be on the same side; It brought with it the information that "Fan Page" has a different ground than social media observation. This series includes many techniques of painting such as drawing, watercolor, oil painting; this diversity of material actually tries to define the process itself: first encounter on social media, hiding, looking again and creating a new language. While thinking about this partnership on the internet with billions of users, downloading it to the sports ground arises from my own user perspective. In fact, 'sport', which is not limited to its audience, can reach everyone in one way or another with a channel; It brings together spiritual triggers and recipes such as organizing, standing side by side, being against, taking sides, creating or sharing a common language.

BIOGRAPHY
After graduating from Kocaeli High School of Fine Arts in 2008, Ecem Yüksel (Zonguldak, 1989) completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Painting at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University in 2016. In the following years, the artist participated in multiple exhibitions and art fairs in Turkey as well as abroad.
In 2019, she published her first artist book Fan Page and presented it for the first time at border_less Art Book Days. Cat Days, the second artist book by Yüksel and Yasemin Yasu was first presented at Flat Art Book Fair held in Turin in 2019. This year, Cat Days was presented in Istanbul with a launch event, held by Tasarım Bakkalı.

- Outside of Istanbul: The works ready for delivery will be delivered within 3-7 working days; the works that are not ready for delivery are delivered within 3-10 working days days depending on the preparation process.
- 4D artifacts such as video, GIFs are sent to you via email.
- You will be contacted for Digital Installation works to be technically set up and an installation schedule is created.
RETURN
- Artwork that can’t be returned:
- All pictures and prints that are specially printed for you.
- All artwork that is framed specially for you.
- All Sculpture and Ceramic works under the 3D category.
- All 4D artifacts such as video, GIF, and other digital work that is sent to you without a watermark.
- All digital installation work whose technical set up was specific to you and the location you requested.
- You can return the works that you bought at shopi go ART within 14 days of their delivery to you or the address of the person/institution that you had provided that they are undamaged.
- To initiate the return process, you need to create your request by contacting our customer service at 444 86 84, info@shopigoart.com, or via WhatsApp Support Line.
- Returns should only be made with the return procedure determined by Shopi go ART. No other form of returns will be accepted.
