An icon that stretches from tennis courts to street fashion…

The Fred Perry brand was established in 1952 by the English tennis legend Frederick John Perry, whose name it bears. A three-time champion at Wimbledon, Perry left his mark not only on the game but also on an era with his style. Known for his athletic elegance and rebellious attitude, Perry was not just an athlete but also a figure embodying the spirit of a generation.

When Fred Perry designed the first polo shirt bearing his name, the world of sportswear evolved into a completely new direction. The classic laurel leaf logo placed on a white background gradually emerged from tennis courts to become a symbol of street culture, youth subcultures, and music. Mods, skinheads, Britpop, and the indie scene — all embraced Fred Perry, infusing it with their own meanings.

Over the years, the brand has become a symbol of purity rather than status. It was never just fashion; it was an attitude, a form of expression, an identity. Athletic in origin but rebellious in spirit. Classic yet defiant. English but universal.
