ETEM ŞAHİN
2DEtem Şahin (1986, Izmir, Turkey) studied Cinema at Paris III Sorbonne Nouvelle University. He received his master's degree in 'New Media in Art' from Paris I Panthéon Sorbonne University. In 2012, he founded the Studio Continue artist initiative together with Cenkhan Aksoy. Between 2013 and 2015, he gave lectures on cinema and new media at Izmir University of Economics. He worked as a curator and coordinator in many events and non-profit structures. He has been performing together with Gizem Karakaş under the name Medyartiz since 2011. The artist is a member of the Great Black Door initiative. He has been exhibiting mostly her paintings since 2017.
