SELVER YILDIRIM
2DSelver Yıldırım (1993) received her Bachelor’s Degree in Compound Arts Program at Yıldız Technical University. The artist has been working on many art projects and participating in group exhibitions since 2014. Currently, she continues producing plastic art pieces through painting and assemblage as well as 3D and digital practices in Istanbul.
The artist, dealing with the alternative scenarios of the apocalypse and the "approaching end", presents her pessimistic point of view in a playful and ironic manner. She discovers surreal spaces by creating new "dimensions" with light cracks, blurred lines, shadows and overlapping layers.
