Gua Sha is a massage technique that has been used in traditional Chinese medicine for centuries. Black obsidian is known for its healing, protecting and absorbing negative energy properties. It is a volcanic stone composed of lava and therefore maintains its natural temperature. It is applied by heating in hot water before massaging.
