This elixir is based on moisturizing aloe vera water, lightly tightening and tonic bay laurel leaf water, as well as moisturizing and regenerating cucumber extract. It is gentle, designed for skin types that desire to brighten up but cannot support acids (AHA, BHA).
Herbal Elixir is firstly a 2% hyaluronic acid bomb. Hyaluronic acid is a compound that occurs naturally in every tissue of the body and serves as a water reservoir for the cells. Feeding hyaluronic acid to skin helps hydrate this reservoir, raising skin's moisture level and smoothing down age lines. Hyaluronic acid is a swelling agent, improving skin’s elasticity and tone.
Herbal Elixir is also enriched with 2% alpha-arbutin. Alpha-arbutin is an active component that occurs in many plants, especially berries, for example bearberry, cranberry, blueberry. Alpha-arbutin blocks melanin synthesis and in this way is an anti-stain active ingredient. It minimizes age spots and various forms of skin depigmentation. It provides an effective and safe approach to skin-brightening for all skin types; it is especially useful for skin types that cannot support acids (e.g. AHA, BHA). Alpha-arbutin is a slow working compound and must be used continuously to minimize existing and prevent new stains from occurring.
How to use: Apply morning and evenings to clean skin after tonic, before serums and creams. Avoid eye area. All skin types, including sensitive.
