Akide Earrings and Ring are inspired by Akide, a traditional Turkish confection. Originating in the Ottoman Empire, Akide is made by cutting tubular confections into amorphous, square-like shapes. The word "Akide" is derived from the Ottoman word "Akit", meaning commitment and contract.
