I choose the colors to create color harmony and then order. I only bought the main colors and noticed that mixing myself more free. Normally, I have to wait for 12 hours to dry the paint and 24 hours to be able to process it. I pour the paints wet and wait a few days to make sure. As I experience the colors, I see which pigments I can not scrape, which of them should make a primer. I have the control of every layer.
Oil that we can describe as a photo -on canvas for a periodLYou were painting I paint. Exactly howL It started and when did you realize you need a different approach now?
Much when in London Painting I didn't. My plan was to return to the picture I neglected during his university years. However, it took a lot of time to enter the rhythm again and catch the cycle. VaccineL Again, making photorealistic paintings started with development in Istanbul. When I look back, I can clearly see progress. However, I could not see that I was in such a great change at that time. I was trying to do photorealistic studies on bright surfaces; They stood realistic when they stood steady and looked, but when they move, the effect (trompe-L'œil*) was disappeared instantly. So they didn't feel exactly dynamic to me. Then I fell to explore the new materials around me and found myself in Maslak Auto Sanayi. I already met new materials and production processes there. That's how I started working with aluminum. In fact, everything developed very naturally and organic.

After moving to the auto industry, you held its first exhibition in Istanbul. In this exhibition, the agreement that you are now in a completely different and new understandingLit is; How was this process?
During the discovery of materials and tools that can be used in the industry, I met Kerim Zapsu. He was very passionate about my work. It was a great motivation to continue my experiments. Kerim was already living in Maslak Oto Sanayi. Then we said, "Let's have an exhibition together." Oil on aluminum beforeLI painted I; But this time I saw that I could do more than painting. An ideal floor for processing the stable surface of aluminum and creating different surfaces. The subtraction, scraping and shaving techniques, which I am familiar with from the statue as well as the statue, have now become a part of my production process.

As the technique progressed in this direction, the use of brush decreased?
It's been years since I haven't been brush. I am still looking for ways to include in my work again. But for now my brush is sanding.
How's the production processL are you editing? Is everything head with a sketch firstLIs it?

Rather than painting, digging, processing and manipulating the surface is my production process.
