Interdisciplinary artist, Eda Şarman (Houston, 1992) received her Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture at Pratt Institute in New York in 2016. In 2019, she completed her Master’s Degree in Moving Image at Royal College of Art in London. The artist started exhibiting her works in the United Kingdom and nowadays she is exploring international online biennials, archives and exhibitions to display her work from Istanbul.
Eda’s practice evolves on the intersection of architecture, phenomenology and tentacular thinking, proposing to perceive place as an active/fleshy organism. Place, the ground of our interconnected↭interdependent life, is the foundation of Eda’s works. Her practice endeavors to trespass a linear understanding of time and an isolated perception of space.
