EDA ŞARMAN

2D, 4D

Eda Şarman (Houston, 1992), who produces interdisciplinary products, completed her undergraduate education at the Department of Architecture at Pratt Institute in New York in 2016. She completed her master's degree on Moving Image at the Royal College of Art in London in 2019.

The artist started showing her works in personal and group exhibitions in London in 2018. Recently, Şarman continues her work in Istanbul and takes part in online biennials, archives and exhibitions.

With her practice focusing on architecture, phenomenology and "tentacular thinking", Eda proposes perceiving spaces as organisms. Space forms the basis of Eda's work as the ground where our interconnected and dependent lives exist. Her productions question the perception of linear time and limited space.
