EKİN KESER

2D

Ekin Keser (b.1993 Hatay) started studying teaching art at Marmara University in 2011. Conceptually, he works on LGBT+, veganism, human rights, pornography and nature. His production continues with varying disciplines depending on the situation it is associated with. He continues to live in Istanbul and study at Marmara University.

While applying the discipline shaped according to the idea, the artist tries to create the work by blending the trio of idea, material and society. Investigating interdisciplinary interaction, Ekin Keser investigates the effects of LGBTI+, veganism, human rights, pornography and nature on himself and his immediate environment. By trying to get to the root of the problem, he does not fetishize the pain created by his subconscious and social principles, but strives to overcome the experiences he has gained through aesthetic intervention. He investigates the importance of any expression in language and leaves the resulting work alone with the 'language' of the audience.
