2DBorn in Istanbul in 2000, the artist decided to study painting at a young age with the guidance of his primary school teacher. In 2014, he entered Aydın Doğan Fine Arts High School as the first student and graduated in 2018. In the same year, he entered Yeditepe University Department of Plastic Arts and Painting with a full scholarship and graduated in 2023. The artist, who has been practising magic and cardistry for 6 years, says that this occupation integrates with his art in a conceptual and formal sense. The artist's works open the magical and intriguing doors of magic to us.
The artist, whose passion for cards and magic began at a young age, creates a series of oil paintings on playing cards, which are familiar to everyone and unite us at the game tables. The artist, who paints with a minimal approach by intervening very little on the static surface, emphasizes that drawing is actually an illusion and that it is actually related to magic at some point.
