RÜZGAR POLAT

Rüzgar Polat, (1993, Kahramanmaraş) Painting He started his education at İzmir Ümran Baradan Fine Arts High School. 2017LYeditepe University Fashion and Textile Design DepartmentLHe graduated from umu. Expressing his production process as "painting that moment when we lose our faith", Polat wants everyone to be able to enter the empty spaces of his paintings and put themselves in their lost images. The black and white tones he frequently uses in his forms are actually reflections of his moods in the world, stripped of colour. The emptiness that follows represents sadness and fear represents the pleasure that the universe never stops making us feel. The figures in his paintings sometimes appear as souls alienated from the perspectives of the society they live in, and sometimes as existential individuals who challenge the pressures of those societies with their dreams. Rüzgar Polat continues to paint the stories of people who got lost while searching for themselves.
