YEŞİM YEŞİLÇİMEN
2DYeşim Yeşilçimen (b. 1999, Mersin) completed her undergraduate education at Koç University, Department of Media and Visual Arts. During hER undergraduate education, She took part in multidisciplinary projects by making productions in the fields of video, installation, performance and photography. Yeşim Yeşilçimen currently works as an art director and creative producer in the advertising industry.
The artist goes on a journey where She opens his life and mind by confronting the images created by emotions such as the human illusion of perfection, the desire to be liked, alienation, anger, and disgust, which have been present since his early youth, together with photographs.
By creating the artist's concepts of "body", "form", "beauty" and "flaw", together with the photo collage technique, she examines all the parts of the human body piece by piece and allows us to look at it as a whole without focusing on a single image.
