Deniz Kozakiewicz (Ankara, 1977) completed her undergraduate education with a full scholarship in the Graphic Design department of Bilkent University’s Faculty of Fine Arts between 1995 and 1999. Subsequently, she pursued studies in Art Direction, Product Design, Furniture Design, Fashion Illustration, and Portrait Photography at the University of the Arts London Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design. During this time, she received various awards and participated in group exhibitions. Upon her return to Istanbul, she became involved in numerous international projects as an art director, designer, photographer, and consultant. Starting from 2017, she shifted her focus towards painting. After her first solo painting exhibition, “Amour Diabolique” in Istanbul’s Galeri Baraz in 2019, she continued to participate in group and solo exhibitions in France and Turkey. She was represented by Sebban Galerie in Paris, Mixerart and Büyükdere35 in Istanbul. She continues her work in Barcelona.
