DORUK KUMKUMOGLU
2DDoruk Kumkumoğlu (İzmir, 1994) completed his undergraduate education at Istanbul Bilgi University, Visual Communication Design Department. By combining photography with different disciplines and forms of representation, the artist produces works that create alternative approaches to the function and conceptual possibilities of photography.
The artist, who won Akbank's Contemporary Artists award in 2016, presented his works to audiences in various countries, including Italy, France and Japan, in the following years. The artist, who completed his master's degree in photography in Lausanne at the École Cantonale d'art in Lausanne, Switzerland, this year, now continues his work in Istanbul.
