BIOGRAPHY
Serap Gecü, (d.1982, Istanbul) her art practice focuses on photography, drawing and writing. Her photographic works have been exhibited at No Exclusive Quarters For Families (Mtaär Open Art Space), Mural Project (Milk Gallery), Konutgah Kadıköy (Hush Gallery), MIA Anywhere (MIA Collection Virtual Museum) and Visual Space; she has been featured in publications such as LeCool, Banané, Carpaccio, Bak, Simple Style, Saqi Books.
Her drawings have been featured and exhibited in art platforms such as Mana Contemporary, ARTSY, MIA Art Collection, Jaguar Arte, Visual Space; The Woman Artist, artdetector, Flint Culture, She & She, BABEL, Baya Collective have been the subject of publications and media such as. She participated in The Misfits exhibition curated by Ysabel Pinyol Blasi and STEP Istanbul within the scope of Mana Contemporary Digital Open House at CADAF 2020 Art Fair. ASHKAL ALWAN became one of the participants of the HWP 2021 online program.
She founded the Flâneur Collective artist initiative together with her brother Seda Gecü and participated in border_less Artbook Days in 2022 with her first joint book project, Standing in Front of Me. in 2023, she took part in the border_less Artbook Days with her first photography book La Dérive. With this book, she also participated in the Athens Art Book Fair and Vienna Art Book Fair in 2023
In addition, she has been working as an editor since 2012. She was the editorial director of XOXO The Mag, Some Men, Petals, Feed magazines and was the digital communications director of 212 Studio. She worked as an editor in various publications of IKSV and Pozitif. She worked as a project consultant and editorial director at Beymen Magazine.
In the 2000s, her stories were published in Adam Öykü and altzine magazines. She translated H.P. Lovecraft's The Case of Charles Dexter Ward into Turkish for 6:45 Publications. She lives and works in Istanbul.

- All digital installation work whose technical set up was specific to you and the location you requested.
- You can return the works that you bought at shopi go ART within 14 days of their delivery to you or the address of the person/institution that you had provided that they are undamaged.
