"Kadın Casuslar” Serisinden

Kült bir film hâline gelen Casablanca (1942) hakkında pek bilinmeyen şaşırtıcı bir gerçek, bu serinin ilham kaynağını oluşturdu: Filmin senaryosunun çekimler sırasında gelişmesi, senarist ve yönetmen de dahil olmak üzere kimsenin filmin sonunu dahi önceden bilmemesi... Buradan çıkışla, bir sorunun peşinden gittim: Ilsa (Ingrid Bregman) kocası Victor ve sevgilisi Richard arasında kalmış duygu yüklü, bazen de sulu gözlü bir kadın figürü olmayıp Fransa’nın karşı cephesindeki casuslardan biri olsaydı filmin nasıl bir alternatif hikâyesi olurdu? Yemek Kitabı adlı resimde, alternatif hikayedeki casus Ilsa'ya gönderilen bir görev mektubu betimlendi. İçerisinde geçen yemek tarifi, görev gereği birinin zehirlenerek ortadan kaldırılması gerektiğine dair bir şifre.

Bu eser sadece shopi go ART’ta satılmaktadır.

Eserin ismi, tarihi, tekniği, boyutu ve edisyon bilgilerinin bulunduğu Özgünlük Belgesi, sanatçı tarafından imzalanıp size ulaştırılacaktır.

BIOGRAPHY

Bengisu Bayrak (Herford, 1978), has a BA degree from Marmara University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Painting (2001), MA Degree from Istanbul Bilgi University Institute of Social Sciences Film and Television Program (2005), a Doctorate in Arts Degree from Marmara University Fine Arts Institute Art Department (2008)  and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Wales (2011). 
In her works, Bengisu Bayrak questions the credibility of grand narratives, historical facts, and social orders by creating visual and literary materials. Ephemeral objects, ordinary documents, films, old/new books are used as backgrounds in her works. The ideas that she has accumulated throughout her life and her personal stories embody her works by blending them with today’s world.  
She has participated in many group exhibitions in Berlin, Seoul, Hong Kong and Istanbul. Between the years 2012 and 2019, she had 6 solo exhibitions in Istanbul and 1 in New York City. She was awarded several awards, including "Akbank Contemporary Artists Achievement Award" and "Moleskine 2.0 Design Competition" . Her works are owned in private collections in Turkey, United States, United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong, Italy, and Germany. In addition to making contemporary art, she teaches art and design and co-authored a book titled "Çağdaş Sanatta Anlam Sorunu Üzerine Bir Deneme" (An Essay on Significance in Contemporary Art) with Nazan Alioğlu.

  • Within Istanbul: The works ready for delivery will be delivered within 2-5 working days, the works that are not ready for delivery are delivered within 2-9 working days according to the length of the preparation process.
  • Outside of Istanbul: The works ready for delivery will be delivered within 3-7 working days; the works that are not ready for delivery are delivered within 3-10 working days days depending on the preparation process.
  • 4D artifacts such as video, GIFs are sent to you via email.
  • You will be contacted for Digital Installation works to be technically set up and an installation schedule is created.
   

RETURN

 
  • Artwork that can’t be returned:
  • All pictures and prints that are specially printed for you.
  • All artwork that is framed specially for you.
  • All  Sculpture and Ceramic works under the 3D category.
  • All 4D artifacts such as video, GIF, and other digital work that is sent to you without a watermark.
  • All digital installation work whose technical set up was specific to you and the location you requested.
  • You can return the works that you bought at shopi go ART within 14 days of their delivery to you or the address of the person/institution that you had provided that they are undamaged.
  • To initiate the return process, you need to create your request by contacting our customer service at 444 86 84, info@shopigoart.com, or via WhatsApp Support Line.
  • Returns should only be made with the return procedure determined by Shopi go ART. No other form of returns will be accepted.
