From the "Women's Spaids” series

It is a very unknown fact that Casablanca (1942), which has become a cult film, has created the inspiration of this series: the development of the film during the filming, the fact that no one knows the end of the film, including the screenwriter and director ... I went: Ilsa (Ingrid Bregman) Her husband Victor and her lover Richard, and sometimes a watery -eyed female figure is not one of the spies on the opposite front of FranceL would it have an alternative story? In the picture called Cookbook, a task letter sent to Spy Ilsa in the alternative story was depicted. The recipe in it is a password that someone should be poisoned by poisoning.

BIOGRAPHY

Bengisu Bayrak (Herford, 1978), Bachelor's degree from Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts Painting Department (2001), Master's degree from Istanbul Bilgi University Social Sciences Institute Cinema and Television Program (2005), Marmara University Fine Arts Institute Painting Department He received his proficiency in arts (2008) and master's degree in business administration (2011) from the University of Wales. Questioning the credibility of grand narratives, historical facts and social orders in his works, the artist uses temporary things, ordinary documents and old or new books as a background to break conventional understandings and create alternative narratives. Bengisu Bayrak participated in many group exhibitions in Berlin, Ghent, Seoul, Hong Kong and Istanbul. Between 2012 and 2019, she opened 6 personal exhibitions in Istanbul and 1 in New York. She won various awards, including "Akbank Sanat Contemporary Artists Achievement Award" and "Moleskine 2.0 Design Competition 1st Prize". The artist has works in private collections in Turkey, the USA, the United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong, Italy and Germany. In addition to actively producing contemporary art, the artist gives lectures in the field of art-design and has a book titled "An Essay on the Problem of Meaning in Contemporary Art", written together with Nazan Alioğlu.

  • All 4D artifacts such as video, GIF, and other digital work that is sent to you without a watermark.
  • All digital installation work whose technical set up was specific to you and the location you requested.
  • You can return the works that you bought at shopi go ART within 14 days of their delivery to you or the address of the person/institution that you had provided that they are undamaged.
