PHARE STUDIO
Established under the Phare brand, the design workshop Pharestudio has been creating brand new stories by adding inspiring and innovative interpretations to traditional handicrafts for use in all living spaces since 2005.
Vintage-looking but actually timeless designs inspired by the 50s and 60s make up the brand's most basic collections. They reflect Pharestudio's basic philosophy with their strong characters that adapt to every space and style.
In addition, pharestudio brings back to life the almost forgotten traditional Turkish handicrafts with its unique interpretation of patterns, fabrics and materials.
Pharestudio's 2005 design, Galata, won the EDIDA award in Türkiye (Elle Decoration International Design Awards). His 2006 design, 7 Istanbul, was exhibited at the Saint Etienne Biennale in France as an interpretation of Istanbul's skyline. Harem, designed by applying Turkish copper-forging techniques to an 18th-century Western form, also won the appreciation of the foreign press (Financial Times, 13-14 June 2009).
