Sapper has developed and designed a wide range of products from ships and cars to computers and electronics, furniture and kitchen appliances. Its customers include Alessi, Artemide, B&B Italia, Brionvega, FIAT, Heuer, Kartell, Knoll, IBM, Lenovo, Lorenz Milan, Magis, Molteni, Pirelli and others.
Based on interviews with designer Jonathan Olives for more than forty hours, this research of Sapper's work examines his objects, the conditions that shape them, and the ultimately emerging ideals. Intercontinental conversation is investigating the themes that are re -emerging during Sapper's works and have a special importance for younger generation designers and those who desire to understand Sapper's work from a new perspective.
