Berlin, 1991. Angela Spieth and Michael Oehler were inspired to translate a new vision of transparency into shoes and founded Trippen. Reflecting the spirit of their united cities, the designers created a distinctive style with an interplay between restraint and creativity. While rubber sole molds were reduced to a few styles chosen for optimal comfort, leather uppers offered limitless possibilities for creative expression. Trippen's signature design language, which earned it international cult status, emerged from this framework, and the brand remains true to this line today, playfully referencing the vicissitudes of fashion while transcending them with a timeless aesthetic. Each new style adds another feature to the brand's living archive, which includes more than 1,600 models available for reorder. As a tribute to its customers' creativity, Trippen's exclusive 'Made for You' service invites individuals to personalize their pair, allowing them to choose both the leather style and sole colour.
